Pendidikan Anti Korupsi: Dari Kesadaran ke Aksi Pada Siswa SMAN 1 Amuntai Utara

Abstract

Corruption is one of the major problems that affects the social, economic, and political stability of a country. Preventive efforts should be carried out from an early stage through character education and the cultivation of integrity values among young generations. This community service activity aimed to increase students’ understanding, awareness, and anti-corruption attitudes among students of SMAN 1 Amuntai Utara, Hulu Sungai Utara Regency. The method used in this activity was socialization of anti-corruption education through material presentations, educational videos, and interactive discussions with students. In addition, the program emphasized the practice of honest behavior in school life such as avoiding cheating during exams, not falsifying attendance, and being responsible for academic tasks. The results of the activity indicated an increase in students’ knowledge regarding the definition, forms, and impacts of corruption, as well as a growing awareness of the importance of honesty, discipline, and responsibility. Anti-corruption education proved to be effective in fostering positive attitudes and behaviors toward corruption prevention from an early age. Therefore, anti-corruption education should continue to be developed as part of character education in schools to build a generation with strong integrity and responsibility
