Sosialisasi Edukasi Pencegahan Bullying di MIN 3 Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara

Abstract

Bullying in schools remains a serious issue in Indonesia. Data from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) indicate that cases of violence and bullying in educational institutions consistently rank among the highest reported complaints each year. In addition, the 2022 National Assessment conducted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology reported that approximately 24.4% of students are at risk of experiencing bullying at school. These findings highlight the urgency of implementing preventive measures starting from the elementary level. This community service activity was conducted at MIN 3 Hulu Sungai Utara with the aim of enhancing students’ understanding of the forms, impacts, and prevention strategies of bullying. The methods included interactive lectures, educational video screenings, group discussions, and question-and-answer sessions to encourage active participation. The results demonstrated an improvement in students’ awareness of mutual respect, empathy, and the importance of reporting bullying incidents to teachers. Therefore, educational socialization plays a crucial preventive role in fostering a safe, supportive, and character-building school environment
